1. Service Description

PhotoRestorer is an AI-powered photo restoration service. You upload photos, and our system uses artificial intelligence to restore, enhance, and repair them. Each photo is processed by one of our AI providers (OpenAI or Google Gemini) depending on the provider selected. The service operates on a credit-based pricing model — each restoration consumes one credit. By using the service, you acknowledge that your photos are processed by these third-party AI providers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental or guardian consent to use this service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. User Responsibilities

By using PhotoRestorer, you agree not to:

  • Upload illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
  • Upload images you do not have the rights to use
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, abuse, or overload the service
  • Use automated tools for mass uploads without prior authorization
  • Share your account credentials with others

4. Intellectual Property

  • You retain all rights to your uploaded photos
  • You retain all rights to the restored versions of your photos
  • We claim no ownership over any user content
  • The PhotoRestorer brand, design, and software are our intellectual property

5. Credits & Payments

  • Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except as required by law
  • Each restoration uses one credit upon submission
  • If a restoration fails, your credit is automatically refunded to your balance
  • Unused credits do not expire
  • Pricing may change at any time; existing credit balances are always honored
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe

6. Service Limitations

  • Restoration quality varies depending on the original photo condition and is not guaranteed
  • The service may reject certain images that violate content policies
  • Uploaded and restored files are deleted after 24 hours — you are responsible for downloading results before then
  • We make reasonable efforts to maintain uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability
  • Maximum upload size is 20MB per image

7. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

  • Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for credits
  • We are not liable for loss of photos — we process copies, not your originals
  • We are not liable for the quality of AI-generated outputs
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

8. Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time
  • We may terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abuse
  • Upon termination, all associated data is deleted within 30 days
  • Unused credits on terminated accounts are forfeited

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or by displaying a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
